The sheer amount of litter, overflowing bins, broken bottles and complete disregard for the environment has left locals fuming.

A large scale football event attended by many teams, and parents, has resulted in a filthy mess.

With clearly enough waste generated to justify a skip, although some refuse was indeed bagged, there was clearly more rubbish generated than the existing bins could cope with, and according to this lady, many broken bottles as well.

A very sad sight for the locals who are trying to improve the playing fields at Blackpool Road North, and not ideal for children wishing to use the park today. A truly shocking image.
