Fylde Coast dog owners are urged to be on the lookout after the spike in dog poisoning attempts.
Today (23/10/2019), A Police Officer this morning informed a Fylde Coast resident that there is someone leaving poisonous dog biscuits on the green outside on Carnforth Avenue Blackpool . The officer found around 40 dog biscuits in a pile on the green. which have been moved.
Incidents in the past in St Annes have occurred when slug pellets have been left deliberately in a field (linking Lima Road and Lawrence Avenue).
*UPDATE* Since posting this news article, this evening (23/10/2019) we have had reports that a family on Grange Park, Blackpool have had both of their cats poisoned. Sadly the cats have passed away.
