A worried resident has contacted Lytham St Anne’s news about her current fear: trees towering over the pavement property on Jubilee Way, St Anne’s.
The resident told us “Residents have written to Fylde Borough Council asking them to cut the heavy branches off the trees which overhang the path where people walk their dogs. These trees are 3 times the height of a house. The council did a report which said the roots were destroying the pathways but only recommended a few dead twigs would be removed at the end of March. They also have been told not to cut the grass anymore around the trees.. These trees are dangerous and someone is going to get injured”.
