Fylde Police recover vital evidence from abandoned vehicle!!

This evening, Kirkham Neighbourhood Policing Team have seized a moped, which was found abandoned in a wooded area on Remembrance Way, Kirkham, after it had made off from officers.

The bike has been identified as stolen, being ridden on false plates. When searched, officers found a quantity of drugs, scales and a spray paint can, which we believe has been used in the Barnfield area of Kirkham to commit criminal damage. The rider made off prior to police locating the bike, however, forensic enquiries are ongoing to identify the rider.
