Weather:

Enjoy the Sun Today – As A Light Covering Of Snow And A Much Colder Day Is On The Way To Lytham St. Anne’s Tomorrow (Wednesday)

A much colder day with a light covering of snow is forecast for Lytham St. Anne’s tomorrow (Wednesday) as a weather front moves north east turning wintry as it hits our coastline.  For travellers the snow will deepen as you move towards the Pennines and the front hits even colder air – so allow extra time for journeys and take care!

Meanwhile, forecasters from the Met Office say that we could also be hit by another ‘Beast from the East’ in the coming weeks because of an unusual meteorological event currently taking place above the North Pole. Stratospheric warming could trigger weather changes that would lead to a severe cold snap in Britain in late January and early February.
