Filming Commences In North West Locations For New Harlan Coben Netflix Series

The millions of Harlan Coben fans are in for a big treat as filming for Netflix’s eighth adaptation of his best selling novels has begun.  And the eight part drama = ‘Fool Me Once’ –  is reset in the North West of England, filming already having commenced in Manchester.

Award-winning American writer Coben has written more than 30 best-selling novels, past Netflix adaptations include The Stranger, The Woods, The Innocent, Gone for Good, Stay Close and Hold Tight.

Former Coronation Street star, Michelle Keegan (pictured below) will play the lead role in the new eight-part Netflix drama, alongside a cast that includes Richard Armitage, Adeel Akhtar and Joanna Lumley.

Michelle shared the news on her Instagram, saying, ‘Finally the secrets out!! I’m over the moon to be joining the cast of FOOL ME ONCE, a @netflixuk thriller based on the book by the extremely talented @harlancoben. Here we gooooo …’

‘Fool Me Once’ tells the nail-biting story of a family devastated by two murders. A former special agent, Maya (played by Michelle Keegan), is shocked when she thinks she sees her murdered husband Joe (Richard Armitage) on her nanny cam. Meanwhile, her niece and nephew, Abby and Daniel, are trying to get to the bottom of what happened to their own mother who was also murdered some months earlier.
