Police have asked residents to be vigilant after four burglaries occurred on the same evening in Kirkham and Freckleton.

Three of these burglaries occurred at properties in the Dowbridge area of Kirkham and one took place at a property on Kirkham Road, Freckleton.

The burglaries occurred on the night of 25th January between 18:50-20:40. Police believe that the same offender has committed all four burglaries as properties have been targetted via patio doors and rear windows.

Police ask if you have any information relating to the burglaries, please call 101.

Meanwhile, with the offender(s) still at large, please remain vigilant and keep properties, including windows, locked and secure and remove any valuables from sight. Police are asking you to remain watchful and have a look at their crime prevention advice
