A popular Fylde Coast Indian restaurant has received major recognition at this year’s Northern England Curry Awards 2026.
Zest Of India in Blackpool was awarded Outstanding Achievement in the Editor’s Choice Restaurant of the Year category at the prestigious awards ceremony, held at the Cedar Court Hotel in Huddersfield on 1 September.
The Northern England Curry Awards celebrate some of the best restaurants, chefs and hospitality businesses across the North, recognising excellence in food, service and customer experience.
Zest of India was one of three establishments honoured in the Editor’s Choice category, alongside Nawaab in Leeds, which was recognised for excellence, while Nur Indian Restaurant in Doncaster took the overall category title.
It marks another successful year for Zest of India, which also received Outstanding Achievement in the Best of Lancashire category at the Nation’s Curry Awards earlier in 2026.
The latest accolade puts the Fylde Coast restaurant firmly among those recognised on the northern curry scene and represents another boost for the area’s hospitality industry.
