Fylde Police today have posted a reminder on their social media platforms in relation to the volume of people visiting St Annes over the past few days not adhering to social distancing.  They have written:

“There has been an increased number of people vising the St Anne’s area over the past few days.

We would like to re-iterate the social distancing guidelines and current Government advice that is in place.
Please ensure that you are adhering to the 2 metre social distancing rule in order to keep yourself and others safe.

Many thanks for your co-operation during this difficult time.”

Despite this message, and many other reminders, St Annes has been bustling with people, as well as masses of rubbish being strewn across the beach.
