The famous escalator at The Chinese Buffet (TCB) in Blackpool has taken diners upstairs for the final time! The large restaurant. which could seat over 100 diners, has served its very last meal – it is now permanently closed.

The sudden and unexpected closure of the dinery, which opened in 2007, came last Saturday – taking not only customers but staff by surprise. This comes as the TCB introduced revolutionary robot service (see photographs below).

The Company Director of TCB is listed as Mr Wu –  with a chain of similarly named outlets in Wigan, Bolton and St Helens currently still open.
