Lytham’s historic Home Farm has once again hit the headlines having been named in the High Court. It is alleged that the Farm was asset sold by Fylde Coast Farms Limited, in breach of a court order. This is of renewed significance as Fylde Coast Farms Limited was once known as Oyston Estates Limited – and the current company names Owen Oyston as its sole shareholder. The change of ownership of Home Farm was brought to the Court’s notice by Valeri Belokon who alleges that this sale is in breach of a 2017 order freezing Mr Oyston’s assets. This order resulted from a long running dispute between Mr Belokon and Mr Oyston over the debts of Blackpool F.C. Currently, Blackpool F.C. is under new ownership, led by businessman and hedge fund manager, Simon Sadler. Bispham born Simon, who has supported the Tangerines since his childhood, bought the club from the receivers in June 2019.
