The search for the missing boys continued this afternoon, and it as been announced by Fylde Police that HM Coastguard and RNLI searching for the boys, have sadly found two bodies.

The discovery was made at just after 3:15pm this afternoon (Sunday, August 16th) around a mile away from St Annes Pier, where they sadly got into difficulty in the water yesterday evening (Saturday, August 15th).

The 2 males have not yet been identified, but the police believe that they are Muhammad and Ali. The family have been notified by the police and are continuing to receive support from trained officers

Our thoughts and condolences remain with them and their friends at this incredibly distressing time.

Thanks again to HM Coastguard, the RNLI and the National Police Air Service (NPAS) Who worked tirelessly for over 20 hours to search for the two young men.

Thank you to all of our followers who have followed the story and sent in messages and prayers. Rest in Peace Mohammed and Ali.
