Hootiful Owls ‘Twit & Twoo’ Land In St.Anne’s Station Stump – Find Out Hoo-Dunnit Here

A sad solitary stump situated outside St Anne’s Station has been given a new lease of life by Wesham artist James Sheliker from Acorn Woodcraft. A £250 grant from St Anne’s Town Council, backed by a contribution from Community Rail Lancashire, has allowed James to showcase his talent by carving two wonderful owl images on either side of the stump, greeting passengers entering and leaving the station car park.  James has appropriately named the owls Twit and Twoo!

The wooden sculptures add to the much-appreciated recent Hidden Gems artwork adorning the station’s platform area and booking office.
