Hot, Sunny Weather In Store For This Weekend – And For Monday’s ‘Freedom Day’.

As the country approaches what has been dubbed ‘freedom day’ temperatures are going to rise and we could see one of the hottest days of the year in Lytham St. Anne’s on Tuesday, the day after restrictions are removed.

With temperatures already warming up this week, meteorologist Alex Deakin, from the Met Office, says that we can expect sunny skies and rising temperatures on Thursday and Friday and through to the weekend.

The perceived temperature at 23C on Friday, 24C on Saturday, 20C on Sunday, 26C on Monday, with Tuesday soaring to a high of 27C (featured image), with sunshine expected for all days. The Met Office says the weather will continue to be influenced by high pressure moving across the UK so the dry and sunny weather is set to continue, although it will become cooler as the week progresses.
