It’s September – And The Blackpool World Fireworks Championship Is Back With A Bang!

The international competitors and dates for the Blackpool World Fireworks Championship 2022 have been announced with a brand new date in the line-up thanks the sponsorship of Coral Island. The free event will gather together the crème de la crème of the world’s firework elite and promises a mouth-watering series of shows with jaw-dropping entertainment for all the family.

For 2022, the stunning displays, which are set to music, will take place once again over the beach in front of The Blackpool Tower. All of them are free to access.

  • Saturday 17 September – Fireworks Factory from Finland
  • Saturday 1 October – Caribe Fire FX from Barbados.
  • Saturday 15 October  – Celtic Fireworks from Wales
  • Friday 28 October – Celebratory display with Titanium Fireworks

  1. Without wishing to be a party pooper I live in St Annes near the Pier and it was deafening here. Sounded like bombs going off. Do we seriously need this anymore or perhaps reduce the strength of the fireworks. Just a thought.
