The Jai Lounge in St. Anne’s enjoyed a truly successful opening night and has since been praised with a wealth of first-rate reviews on social media, including comments like, ‘Absolutely brilliant night – can’t wait to go back.’
There are many reasons why Jai Lounge is already enjoying a well deserved, great success, The chefs were carefully selected by colleagues from the Jai Lounge who travelled to India in January 2023 to recruit the very best chefs from states such as Delhi, Mumbai and the Punjab. Travelling extensively on a food trail though North and South India chefs were chosen who have been working as executive chefs in renowned 5 star hotels and leading restaurants, specialising in Indian cuisine as well as fusion, multi-cuisine food.
Returning to St.Anne’s, all the Jai Lounge’s top quality meat, fish and field-fresh vegetables comes from local trusted suppliers. However, the authentic spices come from further afield on a regular basis for freshness and fragrance – from Kerala (India) and also from Delhi.
The carefully selected drinks menu includes premium draft beer such as Peroni, Asahi, Cobra, IPA, and Ciders, whilst the rigorously chosen quality wine was tried and tested amongst 200 people which helped the Jai Lounge ensure their wine list provided a perfect accompaniment to their amazing menu.
Also stocked are local craft gins and artisan whiskies, which have won multiple and international awards. A three-time world champion mixologist, who has worked all over the world, has created the amazingly imaginative cocktail menu. And the Jai Lounge’s signature coffees, either to compliment a meal or simply for relaxed refreshment, come from the range of Dean Blend Coffee, which is one of the best in the world and have exceeded all expectations in extensive taste tests.
Jai Lounge is open 7 days a week 11 a.m.- 11 p.m. serving street food and bar nibbles with the a la carte menu from 5 p.m. each day.
However, whether it’s a beer, bottle of wine, cup of coffee or a bite to eat, Jai Lounge’s friendly and welcoming colleagues are happy to serve you as it’s not a place where you have to eat, it’s also a very relaxed casual drink and dining place conveniently situated on St George’s Road in St. Anne’s.
