Police are currently in attendance on Common Edge Road after a horrifying incident involving two would be car thieves threatening an elderly man who was preventing his daughter’s car getting stolen.

The distraught daughter told your Lytham St Annes News “Two blokes, 1 approx in his 20s, grey tracksuit, dark baseball cap in a silver car YP56 XRK has just tried to cut the CAT converter off my car and when approached by my 76 year old dad has put the electric saw in his face (Dad ok). They are now Heading towards St Anne’s.  This has just happened on Common edge Rd next to Trebaron”
