Lytham Teenager Set To Represent England & GB At Barebow Archery

Seventeen-year-old Evie Finnegan is a Barebow archer from Lytham and a year 12 student at AKS. Evie started Barebow archery at just 10 years old after trying it out a Centre Parcs whilst on holiday. Seven years later she’s smashing National and European records and winning many competitions in the sport.

She is not only representing England in the senior and junior team she has also been selected to represent Great Britain in the 2024 European Indoor Championships which will be held from 19-24 February in Varazdin, Croatia.

This Championship is a chance for barebow athletes who were waiting to make their GB debuts last year to finally have that opportunity now. This is a self-funded event for the archers attending at their own personal costs.

Evie’s family and friends wish Evie and all of the athletes competing lots of luck.
