The popular venue Fino Tapas, which is located in the former Gusto Lytham at 5 Dicconson Terrace, is to close its doors on Sunday 14th August.
The restaurant offered diners a selection of small dishes, slightly more adventurous, something very different from the typical and more formal starter, main course and dessert, found on the menu of most restaurants.
On their website, reservations cannot be made after this date (see below).
Mark O’Rourke the proprietor of Finos said “We have made the difficult decision to close our Lytham restaurant from Sunday, 14th August 2022, due to a decline in sales and footfall over the past six months of trading. July sales this year are 50% less than last year while our other fino venues have increased in sales.
When we initially launched Fino Tapas Lytham, we saw some great numbers; however, quite quickly, it became more sporadic and unfortunately isn’t sustainable for us to remain open.
We have offered all our staff members their jobs across the remaining sites, which remain thriving, and across our new sites due to open in the coming weeks.
We want to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful customers and employees for the past 12 months. Any vouchers can be used at our other sites or can be refunded when brought into Fino Lytham before Sunday, 14th August; alternatively, email email@example.com”
I’m really sad , I met the gentleman ,recently, who had come as a new manager I think?. He was really nice and looked the part. I’m sorry he wasn’t given enough time to turn it round. We go out at night for dinner. Fino doesn’t quite match our requirements. Lytham is a small town not a city where I feel it’s better suited. Maybe I’m wrong but that’s how I feel.
We love it ! always vist when having a day out in Lytham – better than Preston we think – such a shame will miss it.
