Man Jailed Following Burglaries And Fraud In St.Anne’s & Blackpool

A 31-year-old man, Ferenc Horvath of Grosvenor Street, Blackpool has been sentenced to 21 months in Prison at Preston Crown Court for pleading guilty to 3 Residential Burglaries, 1 attempted Burglary and 4 Counts of Fraud.  The offences were committed in St Anne’s, Blackpool and Bispham.

DS 835 Stuart Reid of Blackpool Targeted Crime Team said, ‘These Burglaries were committed by Horvath climbing in through upstairs insecure windows where he would then ransack homes to steal jewellery and high value items. Some of the Jewellery was of high sentimental value to the victims who now have to come to terms they may never see precious items again. I am grateful for the Court in passing a custodial sentence in this case and hope this gives his victims some measure of comfort.’
