Mark Menzies Expenses This Financial Year Total £9,945.76 (so far)

Because of Covid-19, our Members of Parliament, like so many others, have had to adjust to new methods of working, often from home offices rather than in Parliament. But this has not stopped them from claiming thousands of pounds in expenses. Data provided by the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority for the 2020-21 financial year show MPs across the UK have already claimed over £9 million in this financial year as of January 6th, 2021.
The JPI Media Data Unit has analysed the figures in order to find out how much has been claimed by each MP.
The Lancashire Evening Post has reported that our MP Mark Menzies, the Conservative MP has spent £9,945.76 on 12 claims so far this year. His biggest expense has been accommodation, with £5,160.53 spent.
However, this pales when compared to the highest bill, which came from Tory MP for Wakefield, Imran Ahmad-Khan, who has claimed £45,696 so far this financial year.
