A local tradesmen today who works on Mythop Close, Lytham on a regular basis has today contacted Lytham St Anne’s news with his upmost disgust over the dog mess problem which is escalating out of control.
He claims that the grass by the flats is literally covered with a dangerous level of dog mess. “It is a dumping ground, I am always standing in it, and it is really difficult to get out of my work boots” he also added. Today the tradesmen took the opportunity to take photographs to show our viewers the volume of dog mess, and to hopefully shame the culprits into picking it up.
Whilst rare, contact with dog excrement can cause toxocariasis – a nasty infection that can lead to dizziness, nausea, asthma and even blindness or seizures.
