New Head Of School For LSA High As Becoming An Academy ‘On The Horizon’

Lytham St. Anne’s High have appointed a new Head of School. This comes as the school says there is an ‘exciting opportunity of becoming an academy and joining a local Multi Academy Trust (MAT) on the horizon’. This appointment is said to ‘allow the Headteacher, Ray Baker, to allocate some of his time to work with other senior leaders on the proposed development of the MAT.’

The Chair of Governors, Bev Harrison, has shared the news that, following an internal advertisement, and what the school says was ‘a rigorous interview process’,  Gill Clegg has been appointed as Head of School.

The school adds that Ray Baker will remain the overall Headteacher at LSA and will work with the new post holder.

The full letter from Bev Harrison, Chair of Governors at Lytham St. Anne’s High School is presented below.
