The religious people of Lytham St Anne’s are eagerly anticipating the opening of a new religious centre on Moorland Road, where a disused convenience store currently stands.

The applicant Lytham St Anne’s Islamic Society, alongside Dr Adan Janjua were successful in their application last year to convert the premises for religious and educational use.

Local resident Zeeshan Munir told Lytham St Anne’s news “I am so excited about when this building will be ready, at the moment I am currently having to pray at the YMCA on a Friday to read Jumma and now Ill have somewhere to go”.
