News Report States That Lancashire, including the Fylde, will be under lockdown from Saturday

Almost everywhere in Lancashire is set to be placed under strict new local lockdown measures from Saturday 19th September. This has been reported tonight (17.09.2020) by LancsLive.
From Saturday, everywhere in our county including the Fylde will be placed under local lockdown restrictions – although certain parts of Blackpool have been reported as being excluded.
The restrictions will forbid any mixing of households in any setting, including homes, private gardens, public parks, restaurants, and pub beer gardens.
The rule will be in place across the entire boroughs of Fylde, Preston, Lancaster, Wyre, Chorley, South Ribble, West Lancashire, Ribble Valley, Blackburn with Darwen, Burnley, Pendle, Hyndburn, and Rossendale.
A public transport warning is also expected to be issued, with advice saying to only use buses and trains for essential trips such as education, work, and health appointments.
Currently, it is not known why parts of Blackpool are being left out of local restrictions.
The decision to ask for these local restrictions across the vast majority of the county was taken in the last few hours, a Labour Party source has confirmed to LancsLive.
The Department of Health is set to confirm the changes on Friday (September 18), with the new rules going live from Saturday.
