Lytham In Bloom volunteers have been very busy working on the gardens in the Square and other areas within Lytham as well as at the herbaceous border in Lowther Gardens. As a consequence of their care and dedication, the flowers and plants are now looking splendid in the Summer sunshine. Residents and visitors alike are truly impressed by the wonderful display of plants, shrubs and flowers which brighten our town.
Next Tuesday, 19th July, is the big day when the judges of North West in Bloom are coming to look round the area. So, the volunteers are now putting the finishing touches to make sure the all the areas, as well as the borders, are all neat and tidy. Local businesses are lending their support to make the Town Centre is as tidy as possible,
Lytham Saint Anne’s News thanks the dedicated volunteers and we are keeping our fingers crossed we do well in the competition. However, whatever happens, we just love how the wonderful team have made the town look so lovely and full of colour – and we send our sincere gratitude to all the volunteers.
