Not So Sunny Days As Tanning Salon Closed Down And £1000 Fine Issued

Officers from Fylde Council have today (26.11.2020) served a prohibition (closure) notice on Sunny Days Tanning Salon, 26 The Crescent, St Anne’s for trading during the current lockdown.

Numerous complaints were received and Fylde Council together with information from the Police were able to determine that the premises was allowing customers to use the sun beds despite the fact that they have to remain closed under the lockdown.

The owner was also issued with a £1000 fine.

Fylde Council and the police have also reminded the  public that they need to be aware that the using of  tanning salon is not a legitimate reason to leave the home under the current restrictions and may also be committing an offence.
