Lytham St. Anne’s residents who are aged 45 or over can now book and get a Covid-19 inoculation, as the vaccination programme in England enters its next phase. Appointments can be booked now on the NHS website.
This comes as all over-50s and those in high-risk groups in the UK have been offered a first dose of the vaccine. This means that the vaccine programme has moved onto Phase 2 which involves offering vaccines to healthy adults under the age of 50. There are an estimated 3.7 million people in England aged 45 to 49.
More than 32 million people in the UK have now had their first vaccine dose.
