Here’s good news for St Anne’s – our iconic pier has officially been named one of the Top 10 piers in the UK.
The much-loved Victorian landmark has secured 10th place in a nationwide ranking based on TripAdvisor reviews, putting it alongside some of Britain’s most famous seaside attractions.
Highlighting the honour, the Daily Express praised St Anne’s Pier as being “completely unique”, thanks to its distinctive Grade II listed mock-Tudor entrance and its elegant walkway stretching out across the sweeping sands of the Ribble Estuary.
The newspaper also noted that while the pier was originally built as a peaceful promenade for visitors, it has evolved into a bustling seaside attraction packed with arcades, shops and places to grab a bite to eat.
For generations, St Anne’s Pier has been at the heart of family days out, seaside strolls and treasured holiday memories – and this latest accolade proves it’s still one of Britain’s best-loved coastal gems.
