Huge pothole gets filled just days after we reported it!!
Lancashire County Council have reacted swiftly to a huge pothole causing flying debris on The Crescent, St. Anne’s.
At lunchtime today, 3 Council operatives and a truck attended and were seen patching the gigantic pothole, despite heavy rain.
The pothole was large enough to cause drivers concern, and discomfort, to passengers in those vehicles bouncing out of it. It was getting larger by the minute as tarmac and stones crumbled under each vehicle passing through it. This caused additional hazards to traffic and pedestrians nearby as stones scattered across the road and nearby pavement.
That particular area on the crest of The Crescent is a pothole hot-spot, and we urge drivers to remain cautious on that area.
