POLICE APPEAL FOR BOOTHS BOOZE BURGLARS

2 men wanted for multiple thefts from several BOOTHS supermarkets!

From Lancashire Police – We are appealing for information to identify these men following a number of alcohol thefts from Booths stores across the county.

Between December and January police have received reports of 10 thefts from stores in Lancashire, including offences in Garstang, Penwortham, Lytham, Longridge, Fulwood and Lancaster.

On each occasion high value spirits have been selected with the offenders putting the bottles down their trousers and leaving the store.

It is estimated around £1,000 of alcohol was taken, with some bottles recovered when the pair have been challenged.

Following CCTV enquiries we want to identify these men, pictured, in connection with the offences. It is believed they are from the Greater Manchester area.

PC Lorraine Handley, of Lancashire Police, said: “We are keen to speak to these two men as soon as possible.

“If you know who they are please contact police immediately.”

Anyone with information can contact police on 101 or email 2251@lancashire.police.uk quoting log 0656 of January 19.
