A cyclist was badly injured needing surgery yesterday afternoon.

From Fylde Police – Witness and DASHCAM appeal following a fail to stop accident junction of SMITHY LANE, ALBANY ROAD and CHURCH ROAD, LSA earlier today. (Sat 26th approx 1530hrs).

The collision involved a blue car and push bike; the cyclist, a local man, has been left with substantial injuries requiring surgery to his leg. The male driver has knowingly left the scene being described as white, early 30s, short dark hair wearing black T-shirt.
