Police Seek Help Following Burglary At Carleton Crematorium

Fylde and Wyre Rural Task Force are currently investigating a burglary on 24th November whereby a John Deer gator and a quantity of gardening tools have been stolen from Carleton Crematorium.

Police ask if you have been around the area of the Crematorium, Stocks Road and Faraday Way in the early hours of the 24th of November, between midnight to 3 a.m. and have witnessed anything or seen anything out of place please get in touch. If you have CCTV footage if you could check your cameras around this time.

Since its opening in 1935, there have been many notable cremations and interments at Carleton Crematorium including Beatrix Potter, Lennie Bennett, Charlie Cairoli, Bernie Nolan, Violet Carson, Jimmy Clitheroe, Reginald Dixon and Stan Mortensen.
