Rwanda Plan Elicits Scott Benton Comment – ‘Let’s Put Them On A ‘Plane’

Blackpool South MP Scott Benton has expressed his delight at the High Court ruling that the Conservative Government plan to deport asylum seekers to Rwanda is lawful.  Scott said, ‘Great news. Get on with it and let’s put them on the plane. If they don’t want to go, they’ll stay in a safe country such as France.’

This support came as the Home Secretary Suella Braverman told MPs: ‘This judgment thoroughly vindicates the Rwanda partnership. I spoke earlier today with my Rwandan counterpart, the Rwandan minister, Vincent Biruta, and we both confirmed our joint and steadfast resolve to deliver this partnership at scale as soon as possible.

It’s what the overwhelming majority of the British people want to see happen. The sooner it is up and running, the sooner we will break the business model of the evil gangs and bring an end to these illegal, unnecessary and unsafe Channel crossings.

Our ground-breaking migration partnership with Rwanda will provide individuals relocated with support to build new lives there, while disrupting the business model of people smuggling gangs putting lives at risk through dangerous and illegal small boat crossings.’

  1. Shame on you both!
Most British people do NOT endorse the Conservative edict of “Stick them on a plane” to Rwanda or wherever.
    Have you no compassion?
    No conscience?
This insane, inept government is continually pandering to the old school “Keep Britain British” mentality with that wicked witch Cruela Braverman stirring the pot of poison thats being fed to us.
What Scott Benton is endorsing is nothing less than ‘state sponsored’ people trafficking!
These are desperate refugees fleeing for their lives remember.
Desperate enough to risk their lives.
Who knows, one of these days in this bleak looking future of ours, it could us, desperate to start a new life elsewhere to flee this government’s continual ruination of our livelihoods.
How would we feel, if other countries turned their backs on us?
    Shame on you.
    Shame on this government.
