Residents and visitors to Lytham are causing havoc at the Lytham taxi rank by parking after 6pm making it difficult for taxi drivers to earn a living.

A local hackney driver has been in touch with Lytham St Annes News and expressed his anger at the selfishness of the parking.  “The drivers are parking where we are supposed to rank off” he told Lytham St Annes News.

Parking is permitted before 6pm but these rules are being clearly ignored.

“Taxi drivers were one of the worse hit businesses during the coronavirus pandemic and they are only now trying to recover their losses however incidents like this are making it hard for us to earn revenue”
