Sex Offender Who Is ’Risk To Women & Children’ Wanted By Lancs Police

A registered sex offender is on the run and is wanted by Lancashire Police for not disclosing his whereabouts following release from prison, consequently breaching his notification requirements. Thirty-six year old Shaun Aver is described as white, 5ft 6in, of medium build, with short brown hair. He has been known to use the name Paul Aver and has previously been imprisoned for offences including sexual activity with a male child.

He has links to Blackpool, Preston, Fleetwood, Cumbria and Bury in Greater Manchester.

Police are asking people not to approach him if they see him but to call them and report his whereabouts.

A police spokesperson said: ‘This man is called Shaun Aver – he is wanted by police for breaching his sex offender notification requirements. Aver, 36, has failed to complete his registration and notify officers of his whereabouts after being released from prison. He is a risk to women and children and should not be approached.’
