Sinister Snow Predicted for Lytham St Annes Next THURSDAY!

On Thursday 11 February 2021 there is a heavy snowfall predicted for Lytham St Annes and the rest of the Fylde Coast.

The snow fall is expected from 3pm that day and experts predict it could be a heavy snowfall and caution should be exercised as it could make roads and travel extremely hazardous..

The Met Office reports the below for the up and coming weekend

This Evening and Tonight:

Largely dry but rather cloudy this evening with scattered showers over the southern areas. Showers moving northwards spreading across the region and turning heavy at times during the night. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Saturday:

A wet morning across the region with most areas seeing outbreaks of rain. Dry and rather cloudy for the northwest. Possible rain, sleet and hill snow over eastern hills later. Maximum temperature 6 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Further snow and sleet on Sunday with icy patches possible. Wintry showers to follow on Monday and Tuesday especially in the east. Feeling very cold due to strong easterly winds.
