According to the Met Office tomorrow (27/12/2020) the area will possibly see snow and ice.

The Met Office said

An area of rain, sleet and snow will move south through Sunday night with the potential for icy surfaces and some travel disruption.

What to expect
Some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services
Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces
Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.

Today in the area however we will see merciless wind with the Met Office “Very windy weather is expected for parts of England, Wales and the far south of Scotland, leading to disruption to transport and utilities.”

Jane Howarth from Freckleton said “I remember back in 2010 I had at least ten inches in my garden – I will never forget that winter”.
