There’s a great family event lined up to take place in the lovely setting of Ashton Gardens this coming Saturday 8th April. Spring into St. Anne’s is a free, fun-filled Easter event which will be presented from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The enchanting and engaging activities within Ashton Gardens idyllic settings will see Alice in Wonderland characters brought to life. Hosted by Alice and the Queen of Hearts, there will be a 30-minute character show with singing. At the end of the show the Mad Hatter will begin the Egg Hunt. The Egg Hunt will comprise of solving puzzles and finding the hidden eggs.
There are brilliant Easter Egg prizes for the Egg Treasure Hunt and there will also be an Easter Bonnet/Hat competition open to all children. The organisers are encouraging everyone to dress in Victorian type clothing or indeed as Alice in Wonderland characters. Free glitter tattoos and face painting will also be available, first come first served. Additionally, several small rides will be set up on the park.
This new free event for 2023 is brought to you by St. Anne’s Town Council’s CAN working group, who invite you and the family to come down to Ashton Gardens on Saturday 8th, bring a picnic and meet up with Alice and all her friends.
