St. Anne’s Man In Court Accused Of Threatening To Burn The Ducks Nuts

A St. Anne’s resident has been accused of threatening to burn down The Ducks Nuts and using threatening behaviour on Sunday 23rd October – and will stand trail for the offence.  Paul Taylor, of St. Albans Road, is alleged to have made the threats to Alan Openshaw, the 56 year-old owner of The Ducks Nuts on Park Road – and was consequently charged with threatening to damage property and using threatening behaviour to cause distress.

Forty-one-year-old Taylor appeared before Blackpool Magistrates Court on Tuesday 25th October. He denied making threats to burn down the new Tapas bar and using threatening behaviour towards the restaurant owner.  Taylor will stand trail for the alleged offences on Friday 3rd March, 2023.

A Police Spokesperson said, ‘Paul Taylor of St Alban’s Road was charged with threat to damage property and using threatening behaviour to cause distress.’
