St Bede’s To Send Christmas Hampers To Foodbanks & Homeless Hostels In Their Reverse Advent Calendar

St Bede’s Catholic High School are inviting all their pupils to help the homeless and families in hardship in our local communities through a special Christmas Hamper collection.  This charitable initiative is called the Reverse Advent Calendar.

Each year group in the popular High School, which is on Talbot Road in Lytham, is collecting for an identified group that needs assistance, particularly at this time of year. The deadline for the donations is Monday December 5th.The hampers will then be carefully prepared and blessed in a special assembly during the week of 5th—9th December, after which time they will be prepared for collection by the representatives of the organisations during the week of 12th—16th December.

Here are the foodbank, hostels and community groups that each group will be generously supporting:

Year 7—SVP—families local to St. Peter’s, Lytham and St. Cuthbert’s Family Centre, Blackpool

Year 8—Fylde Foodbank, St. Anne’s

Year 9—Vincent House, Blackpool

Year 10 and Music Form —Harbour House, Lytham
