Last night (Monday 29th April) The Bobby Ball Foundation travelled to Warton to visit Streetwise with Elaine and Gerry Gregoire. Elaine and Gerry are two amazing people who, together with their dedicated team, do an incredible job with the young people in our area.

A Spokesperson for the Bobby Ball Foundation said, ‘It was an absolutely pleasure to meet some of the young people that were at the Youth Club last night and present Gerry and Elaine with a cheque of £2,500 on behalf of the Bobby Ball Foundation.

The Foundation are pleased to support young people and believe that every youngster should have a chance to blossom, to be themselves, to find space, to enjoy who they are, and we know that Streetwise really encourage people to be the best person they can possibly be.’

Streetwise run 16 different projects all over the Fylde Coast and have their hub open to the community every day of every week.  Their aim is to provide positive activities which are affordable or no cost to families. They reach out to the disadvantaged, creating a safe haven for young people and families to experience and nurture them in such activities. Their aim is to build positive friendships and belonging to the Streetwise family.
