The Brave Volunteers From Lytham’s HM Coastguard Called Out Once Again Last Night To The Third Incident In Five Days.

The volunteers from Lytham’s HM Coastguard were once again called out last night at 9.31 p.m. to assist Blackpool Police and assist with an incident involving a vulnerable person around the Cliffs Hotel area. HM Coastguard, RNLI Blackpool and NW Ambulance Service also attended the incident. Our coastguard reports that the incident was resolved safely.

Lytham St. Anne’s News continues to pay a sincere tribute to the brave volunteers from our local HM Coastguard for their enduring support for those in danger along our coastline.  Below is a photograph of an incident involving the Lytham HM Coastguard supporting the police in a search for a missing vulnerable person two days earlier (7th January) around the North Pier. This incident was successfully resolved.

And on 5th January the volunteers were called out at 2.02 a.m.to an incident in Blackpool close the Manchester Square area. One volunteer donned full water rescue gear to provide safety cover (pictured below). Fortunately a short time later this incident was brought to a safe conclusion.
