Fylde Council have proudly announced that the Fairhaven Adventure Golf will be open in early September. And there is more good news as the rest of the restoration project is expected to be complete next year – Spring 2021 being put forward as the anticipated finishing point.
The Adventure Golf certainly looks as if it will be a wonderful attraction, a representative from Fylde Council saying, ‘As well as featuring some of the area’s most iconic buildings, such as the Windmill, Lytham Hall, St Anne’s Pier and Singleton fire station, avid golfers will be able to test their skill on mini versions of the Fylde’s best golf courses, with replica holes from Royal Lytham St Anne’s and Fairhaven golf clubs featured.’
This brilliant improvement, along with the ongoing restoration project, aims to bring the attraction’s buildings, parkland and water sport heritage back to life, enhancing Fairhaven for residents and visitors alike. These include an expanded cafe and bird watching centre plus a new water-sports centre and upgraded footpaths, plus the restoration of the Japanese Lagoon Garden, one of the original features of the park.
