The Mayor Of Fylde Officially Opens The Fairhaven Adventure Golf

The official ribbon cutting at the wonderful Fairhaven Adventure Golf course took place yesterday (Monday 29th September, 2020). The official ceremony was proudly performed by the Mayor of Fylde Councillor Angela Jacques and Chair of the Tourism and Leisure Committee councillor Cheryl Little.

The new attraction, adjacent to Fairhaven Lake, is open daily (subject to weather) with eighteen exciting holes to play – complete with iconic buildings such as the Windmill, Lytham Hall and St Anne’s pier, plus holes inspired by those at nearby Royal Lytham & St Anne’s and St Anne’s Old Links golf courses. As visitors navigate the challenging, fun course they will be able to read about the heritage features, whilst being accompanied by bird song from waders that can be found in the adjacent Ribble Estuary.

Prices are Β£5 per child / Β£7 per adult (16+) with Family ticket (2+2) coming in at Β£20. Covid-19 safety measures will be in place.

Councillor Little said, β€˜This is a brand new facility fully funded by Fylde Council and the next investment, after the adventure playground, to be built and open to the public. It is part of an ongoing investment programme and over the winter you will see the next stage of works underway. Β All this investment is placing Fairhaven and Fylde as a holiday and leisure destination Β Residents and visitors alike are delighted, as I am, to see the huge commitment in the Gardens and surrounding area. This facility is now open year round and I know that the team will work hard to make it a big success and further support to put Fairhaven on the map.’
