The Red Arrows will once again be soaring across the skies above Lytham St.Anne’s tomorrow (Saturday 18th September). Setting off from RAF Scampton at around 12.30 p.m. the Red Arrows will perform their famous fly-past over Astley Hall in Chorley at precisely 1 p.m. The fly-past is to celebrate the G7 Speakers’ Summit which is being held at the historic Lancashire venue.
With the weather predicted to be dry with sunny intervals, residents are in with a good chance of spotting the jets as they soar through the skies. They will be in the skies over Lytham St. Anne’s at 12.57 p.m.

Traditionally held in the local area of the host Speaker, the conference will take place from 17th September -19th September, with Sir Lindsay Hoyle saying he could think of ‘no better place in the country than his constituency of Chorley’ to welcome his international counterparts. Astley Hall will host Speakers and Presiding Officers representing Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the USA and the European Parliament. Those attending will include:

- Richard Ferrand – the President of the French National Assembly
- Roberto Fico – President of the Italian Chamber of Deputies
- David Sassoli – President of the EU Parliament
- plus representatives from Germany, Canada and Japan
