The St Anne’s Arts Arena Mosaic in the amphitheatre is looking brighter than ever, thanks to the careful restoration work of specialist artist Tracey Cartledge.
Every broken tile has been given some well-deserved TLC, with original artist Gary Drostle’s vision preserved so the mosaic can be enjoyed for years to come.
A Fylde Council spokesperson said, ‘Keep an eye out, because the Mermaid Mosaics are next! We can’t wait to share them with you once they’re finished. Small areas of fencing will be in place while work continues, but access across the Square won’t be affected.’
