The St Anne’s Square Mosaics Are Complete!

All three of the much-loved mosaics that bring colour and character to St Anne’s Square have now been carefully restored by specialist artist Tracey Cartledge.

These Mosaics are:

🎭 The St Annes Arts Arena Mosaic in the amphitheatre, created by Gary Drostle in 2005

🧜‍♀️ The two Mermaid Mosaics on the southern side of the Square, commissioned by Fylde Council in 2003 and created by Stephen Charnock

Tracey has brought s over ten years of experience restoring historic mosaics and a 30-year career in public art. She carried out the work with the approval of both original artists, so their vision is preserved for future generations to enjoy.

A Fylde Council spokesperson said, ‘The fencing has now been removed, so why not pop down and see them looking their best?

‘A big thank you to everyone for their patience while the work took place.’
