Fire engines from Blackpool, South Shore and Bispham together with the North West Ambulance Service were called to attend a blaze at a domestic property on Coronation Street shortly after 9 p.m. last night (Sunday 30th July).
In a statement, Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said: ‘At 21:01 on the 30th July 2023, four fire engines from Blackpool, South Shore and Bispham attended a domestic property fire on Coronation Street, Blackpool. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reels and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Two casualties received first aid from crews for smoke inhalation before being handed over into the care of North West Ambulance Service. Crews were in attendance for one hour.’
