It’s official, the road closure is extended yet again.

Local motorists are finding this increasingly frustrating, as they are forced to use alternative routes for yet another week. However, road works on Clifton Drive St Anne’s, frequent flooding near the Villa at Wrea Green and relentless queues on the Queensway are prolonging the agony of motorists making their daily commute.

This is another of several weekly extensions issued by Lancashire Highway services, whilst CADENT try to complete underground works.
